An online international guest lecture was conducted in collaboration with The Faculty of Biology and Agriculture, Universitas Nasional, on the topic “Tiger Conservation in India and Indonesia” by Dr. Fachruddin M. Mangunjaya, M.Si.* Dean, Faculty of Biology and Agriculture, Universitas Nasional, Indonesia” .In this Session students gained deeper insights into scientific, policy, and field-based approaches to tiger conservation, as well as the importance of international collaboration in protecting endangered wildlife.

A two day training session was organized in Association with JCI Poona on 21st & 22nd May’2021.The session covered 4 vast topics with different speakers on each topic. The topics included Interview skills, Time Management, Grooming skills & Goal Setting. In all the sessions the speaker emphasized on its importance in day to day as well as Corporate life. The speakers also stressed on the methods by which we can inculcate these things n make it a part of our daily life.

An informative webinar organized by Modi Institute of management & Technology on “Apoidea (Bees): Primary Account – Basics, Morphology & Diversity in India” delievered by Dr. Jagdish Saini, PDF, Zoological survey of India, New Alipore, Kolkata. Dr. Saini explained bee as an ‘Effective pollinators’. He cleared our knowledge about bees restricted to Apis bees (honey bees), there are most of the bees belongs to non-Apis bees (solitary bees) which are play important role as a pollinators to pollinate plants. He also highlighted the diversity of bees in India according to him there are more than 20000 bees globally and more than 800 bees found in India and how to identified bees in field.

Modi Institute of Management & Technology is organizing 2-Days Faculty Development Program “Aanandam – An Exercise Trusteeship” on 08 & 09 Feb. 2021. Dr. Mahaveer Prasad Sahu, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit, Government Girls College, Baran and Dr. Naresh Kumar Nayak, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Government Girls College, Baran, were Key Speaker of this 2 days FDP program. The speaker very explained the purpose of aanandam program with the help of PPTs and Videos. More than 50 faculty members of different college attended this FDP.

Online Webinar on “INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS OF MACHINE LEARNING” By Akshay Purohit, Consultant KPMG Global Services, Bengaluru. Conducted by Dept. of Computer Applications, MIMT, Kota. The Expert talked about the basics of data science and machine learning, along with answering every question that non-programmers have in these domains. Data Science & Machine Learning For Non-Programmers webinar has been designed to help every non-programmer with their complex topics and problems in machine learning. Along with this, the webinar also focused on various domains and use cases of data science and machine learning, which will provide an understanding of the complex field to the attendees. He also briefed about the application of Machine Learning on the real time data in various fields like Healthcare, Airlines, Ware houses etc.

Online Expert Lecture on “BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY” by Prof. S.C. Jain, Dept. of Computer Science Engg., Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

Prof. S.C. Jain delivered a lecture on “Blockchain Technology” for the students. This session not only enabled students to learn about the rapidly changing fields of technology regarding IoT. His talk aimed at enlightening students about the happenings of the world, and gave examples of the hierarchy of today’s booming businesses and how they achieved an edge due to technological advancements as well as innovative thinking. He emphasized that Artificial Intelligence is the new literacy and to thrive in this fast-changing world, one must learn how to be quick on one’s feet, fail quickly yet progress all the same.

A two days session was organized with association with Makeintern & E-Cell, IIM Calcutta. In this session the speaker emphasized on various roles, responsibilities and attributes required for being an entrepreneur. The speaker was Mr. Arvind Navagire from MakeIntern, It also stressed on the facilities provided by the government like loans, Concessions to start up a new venture. The speaker also gave the present examples of various entrepreneurs who have helped in the growth of economy by providing employment to its people.

5 days national workshop on “Web Designing and hosting” organized by Dept. Computer of Applications. Organized the 5 days workshop for year Students. The session was conducted by Mr. D.V. Singh, DVSIHT, Jaipur. In this workshop students acknowledged a complete knowledge of Web Technology. Web technology refers to the means by which computers communicate with each other using markup languages and multimedia packages. It gives us a way to interact with hosted information, like websites. Web technology involves the use of hypertext markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS), XML, PHP and many more. Bootstrap is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for developing responsive, mobile-first web sites.

The Dept. of Computer Applications oraganizd Alumni talk Serise on “A TALK ON: WHAT’S NEXT”. The Talk delivered by Alumni Mr. Ajay Yadav, Software Architect @ HPE Labs, Bengaluru. He is from 2006 Batch. Mr. Yadav motivated the student to become Entrepreneur in their job, irrespective of the company they work for. He inspired the students to improve on their inner competencies and remain energized to perform better in the corporate world. He talked about the three mantras – dedication, determination and Education to be successful in corporate life.
