Training and Placement:-

Vital from the view of student's career prospects, the training and placement function stands on priority in this institute.  Student's training needs are identified at the institute level and relevant functional organization is selected out from the list of friendly organization, to detail the student for extensive training.  Examination of project/training report and evaluation exercise after inter-action is carried out at the institute faculty level, to enable make SWOT analysis by the student at his own level.

Institute students from Business Management, computer system and applications, Biotechnology and Electronics Communication disciplines who have passed out from the institute have created soaring records for this institute at a very first stage. The first batch of MBA passouts in year 2004 have secured job in leading organizations like HongKong & Shanghai Banking Corp., IndsInd Bank, Birla Sunlife Insurance, IDBI, ICICI, Kanchan Appliances, India Bulls Ltd., TCI etc. and similarly first batch MCA passing out students already absorbed in organization such as IBM, Gurgaon, Impetus Soft Series, Accenture Bangalore etc.   Hoping that students of this institute shall display their true worth more aggressively in the coming years.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The Modi Institute of Management and Technology, Kota (MIMT) has been operating Two-year full time MBA program recognized by AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The institute offers MBA degree with Dual Specialization in all leading branches of functional management viz. Marketing, Finance, HR, Systems and Production management. Presently the student intake capacity is 60 Nos.

The faculty intellectuals believe whether it is technological education or multi directional management education, it does not equip the student to face real situation problems confidently and successfully unless backed by a massive knowledge of problem solving techniques and supported by an approach to visualize and analyze problems case to case on individual basis. Thus inline with this conception, greater emphasis is laid on case studies and formation/presentation of case in the classroom studies besides routine theory lectures. Eventually, the institute predominantly believes in building "brand equity" in management education on "learning through case studies".

The institute faculty feels that in a growing market economy world wide, there is need for business management professionals who aim to achieve success only by resting on the factor "can do". The institute having taken note of the "can do" emerging psychological trend, has prepared to gear up the institute students to meet this very requirement by building personality around the given theme. The teaching style aimed to develop an approach to confront problems has been designed with lot of variation from the conventional methodology. Group discussion, Role-play exercises have been developed from the classroom working. A special curriculum has been developed to sharpen the communication skills, decision-making capability and problem solving abilities.

Master of Computer Application (MCA)
